BIOGRAPHY

The Board of Governors (BOG) of Molo Technical & Vocational College provides strategic leadership, governance, and policy oversight in accordance with the TVET Act and relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education. The Board is composed of dedicated members drawn from diverse professional backgrounds, including education, industry, finance, administration, and community leadership. In collaboration with college management, the Board ensures the effective delivery of quality, competency-based education and training (CBET) aligned with national development priorities and labour market needs. The BOG oversees prudent resource management, infrastructure development, staff capacity building, and the integration of modern technology to enhance training and assessment. The Board of Governors is committed to promoting excellence, accountability, innovation, and inclusivity while strengthening industry partnerships and stakeholder engagement. Through sound governance and strategic guidance, the Board supports the College’s mission to equip learners with relevant technical skills, entrepreneurial competencies, and values necessary for employment, self-reliance, and sustainable socio-economic development.

Ms.Ivy Chepkoech Ronoh

Ms. Ivy Chepkoech Ronoh was appointed as a member of the BoG for Molo TVC on 2nd February 2022 and serves as a member of the Risk and Audit Committee. She holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Health from University of Eldoret and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Moi University. Currently she is a Lecturer at University of Eldoret. She is a registered member of Environmental Institute of Kenya..

Mr. John Samorai

Mr. John Samorai was appointed as a member of the BoG for Molo TVC on 2nd February 2022 and serves as a member and Chairperson of the Finance, Administration and Human Resource Committee as well as a member of the Education, Training and Project Committee. He holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Paul University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Management from Kenyatta University. Currently he is a Program Manager at Ogiek People’s Development Program and as a secretariat at Kenya National Trialogue implementing UNDP BES Solution fund. Previously he was a board member at ENSDA from 2015-2018. .

Mr.F.P. Kipchirchir Tanui

Mr. F.P. Kipchirchir Tanui is the Senior Principal and Secretary to the Board of Governors of Molo Technical and Vocational College. Mr. Tanui F.P.K has a long-term experience in management having been a principal for over twenty years cutting across secondary and TVET Institutions all over Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from the University of Nairobi and currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Educational Economics at Moi University. He also undertook a Certified Public Course (C.P.S) with KASNEB and a Senior Management course at Kenya School of Government.

Eng. Judith Amondi Okore was appointed as a BoG member for Molo TVC on 2nd February 2022, and she serves as a member of the Education, Training and Project Committee. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Moi University. Currently she works as Roads Engineer with Kisumu County. Previously she worked as an Engineering Assistant with H & Young Company. She is a registered member of Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).

Ms. Millicent Lukasile is an advocate of the high court of Kenya and a practicing advocate and was appointed as a member of the BoG for Molo TVC on 2nd February 2022 and serves as a member of the Risk and Audit Committee. She holds a Master of Laws from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s of Law (LLB) from Moi University. Currently she is a Legal Officer at Direct Line Assurance Company. She is a registered member of Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
